Hi Martin,you will have an interesting experience. I will follow this restoration attentively.I am beginning my 1970 4/4 restoration too.

Thanks for your comment. I will keep you posted, to date I have asked Black Phey to produce wood frames for the doors. I am in the process of ordering Stainless Steel screws to hold the door frames together along with Arbitol glue

Hi Martin,I heard that classic steel screws are better because when aging the rust help them not to unscrew when the wood is drying. What do you think about that? Are you going to resking the doors yourself?

Hi Dainel, As you know I had planned to use SS screws with Aerolte glue. However I am going to pick up new wood door frames from Black Phey, I will ask him what he recommends. I will let yo know.
