Hi Folks,
Now that I'm driving my car more frequently I find that the clutch and brake pedal pads (repros) keep coming off. Has anyone found a source for good quality replacements, or just Gorilla glued them in place, or just gone with the bare pedals?

Thanks,
Mark M.

Hi Mark,
If you buy the pedal pads from Morgan Spares they are not repros, they come directly from MMC. I've had my +4 4 seater for forty-five years and have found that the pads often fall off. my guess would be that if you want them to remain in place that a dab of glue might help.
Cheers & Happy Morganing,
Jim (Who often drives with one or both pads on the floorboards or tossed under the seat!)

Thanks Jim,
It's good to know that my experience is normal.

Have a nice weekend!

Hey Mark.

Definitely a common occurrence.

When I got my 62' plus 4, I noticed the clutch pedal, which was constantly falling off, had glue residue from the previous owner.

I gently scrapped off the old glue and found a new adhesive that bonds with reaction to water. Applied a little adhesive to the pad, wiped the clutch with a wet cloth and it hasn't falling off since. But I'm not holding my breath.

Cheers.

I have replaced my rubbers with self adhesive anti slip coating such as is used on skateboards, stair treads etc. If you clean up the pedal surface and degrease it stays put.

Thanks Andy,
I wouldn't have thought of that myself.

Happy Thanksgiving,

I`ve secured mine with small cable ties.... that seems to work well.
