The bomber seat looks like a killer to Me. However, maybe with a bit of imagination comfortable seats could be made. I have seen some of the plastic seats. These have more promise if designed properly. But there is the rub. Unless You can sit in them and test for Yourself if they will do the job, one can put an immense amount of time and money into this project. They are initially comfortable once You are seated. But then try to get out of the Morgan. I drive for a minimum of 6 hours a day. Many times 10 hours and I have been known to sit for 12 hours (not often and I am 88 at the moment so probably never again). The seat I need must be adjustable, hold My butt in place, and very comfortable. Just a little adjustment can make a huge difference in the amount of time in the seat. But why bother if Your daily runs will be 4 hours or less. I can sit on a soap box for 4 hours. If you just purchased Your Morgan fix the old stuff good enough to get some time in the saddle. You will soon know what You will want in the future.

I actually like the low profile ones better. But neither look comfortable, though you could probably experiment with the padding. I found the bottom is more important than the back of the seat. I had problems with some seats I had in 71 Plus 8 that were very uncomfortable so much so that only after a few minutes I had to stop. Better to get something that you can test out and get comfortable with. Seats are not something to save money on. If you aren't comfortable, you won't enjoy the car.
Cheers,
Mark

I didn't think to measure the actual dimensions but I did try a pair of Triumph Spitfire seats but they are small in width. Perhaps someone reading this has access to a Spitfire or GT6. I had tried one in a car with similarly small dimensions (roughly 15"
, and I managed to fit one on the passenger side but didn't try on the driver side, which may not have been the same. Unfortunately I am many miles away from that car and can't measure it.

A friend of mine Ha bought an MGB1969 1600cc
looking at the seats it appears they would fit. I didn't have a tape measure but roughly it is in the realms of 15 to 16 inch
I would measure that and let this site know
I am always OK............. the trouble is with the others :-)
